Floors

We knew from the start that the floors in the main areas would be on their way out.
1) I am not a fan of carpet in dining rooms.
2) The den and loft had nasty stained green carpeting.  Yuck...
3) The stairs always looked scraped and dirty, so those needed to be fixed.

After a couple of estimates, we decided to go with Elite Surfaces, http://www.1stinflooring.com/ .

We chose the natural color of Mohawk engineered hardwood flooring.

Additionally, we took the living room carpet (above), which was in great shape, and moved it up into the loft, which had that green carpet.
